Top Finish in Congress Barrel Race for Mikayla Conklin

KER-sponsored rider Mikayla Conklin earned a second-place finish in Senior Barrel Racing at the All American Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus, Ohio on October 26, 2018.

Mikayla and Flipper Ta Flame (Flipper) sped around the barrels in 15.096 seconds, placing them second out of almost 200 entries in the class.

The All American Quarter Horse Congress capped off an exciting couple months for Mikayla with multiple open 1D wins aboard Flipper at the Buckeye Summer Jam in Springfield, Ohio, and the fastest time of the weekend at the Indiana Barrel Futurity in Edinburgh, Indiana, aboard Fire Chasin Flame.
