Špella Deželak is from Domžale, Slovenia, and earned her bachelor’s degree in equine sports therapy and rehabilitation at the ARU Writtle University College, in the United Kingdom. She grew up competing in showjumping and low-level dressage. Her other hobbies include hiking, climbing, baking, and reading. Her future career would ideally be working as an equine researcher and she is specifically interested in the effects of nutrition on myopathies.
