The daughter of a farrier-dad and an Appaloosa-loving mom, Becky Young has been around horses her entire life. For many years, less than 100 feet separated her backdoor from the barn door.

These days, despite being a “double-bred horse-lover,” she has more appreciation for horses than love for them. For many years, she happily supported her sister in her riding endeavors, documenting her riding journey from behind the camera lens. In addition to photography, she enjoys crafting, country music, and finding ways to outwit her two cats.

With a bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies from Sullivan University, where she graduated summa cum laude, Becky is a valuable member of the Kentucky Equine Research business administration team.
