Ots Wins Again at the Global Dressage Festival

Champion dressage trainer Endel Ots, a longtime customer of Kentucky Equine Research, and his mount Lucky Strike added another win to their record during week 10 of the Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Florida.
The pair won the Prix St. Georges CDI1* with a score of 72.941% on March 15, 2019, adding to the ribbons they earned during the Palm Beach Dressage Derby, where they won both the PSG CDI1* and Intermediate I CDI1*.
Ots has been Lucky Strike’s only rider and trainer since he was imported as a three-year-old by Ots and his father, Max Ots. “This is Lucky’s first year out in international small-tour competitions, so for him to get where he is right now, I’m really happy with it,” Ots explained. “I want to keep the shows really fun for him. He really enjoys showing and really has a nice time.” With their recent success, Endel and Lucky Strike are looking to add to their tally of victories to qualify to represent the United States at the Pan American Games.
Ots relies on KER Sport Horse Nutrition feeds to fuel the performance horses in his stable. He chooses Ovation, a palatable pelleted formulation designed for sport horses requiring balanced energy for maximum performance during competition and efficient muscle recovery afterwards.
