Kentucky Equine Research is pleased to announce that Carolyn Conley will be joining the team as the company’s new Thoroughbred Specialist.

Carolyn Conley, KER Thoroughbred SpecialistCarolyn has an extensive background in Thoroughbred horse racing. She was the California-based agent for multiple graded stakes winning jockeys Brice Blanc and Stewart Elliott. She also spent 12 years hosting racing coverage and reporting live on location, as well as producing features and documentaries, for HorseRacing TV.

Carolyn studied Equine Science at Colorado State University and International Politics at Penn State World Campus. She loves to travel and has spent many seasons covering the Dubai World Cup as a print journalist for the Dubai Racing Club. In addition to the Kentucky Derby and Breeders’ Cup, Carolyn has reported live via satellite from the Gran Premio Carlos Pellegrini in Argentina and the Latinoamericano in Chile.

Carolyn has spent her life with horses, competing in three-day eventing and working as a groom and exercise rider in her home state of Washington. She followed her passion to Southern California where she exercised racehorses for Hall of Fame trainers Charlie Whittingham, Bobby Frankel, D. Wayne Lukas, and Richard Mandella.

In her new role as the Kentucky Equine Research Thoroughbred Specialist, Carolyn will work with Thoroughbred trainers, owners, and managers to ensure their stables are utilizing high-quality equine nutrition products supported by science. Carolyn can be contacted at [email protected] or 859-753-4340.
