Jimmie Schramm and Eclaire Move Up to Advanced at the Five Points Horse Trials

Jimmie Schramm and Eclaire tackled their first Advanced competition together at the Five Points Horse Trials at the Carolina Horse Park in Raeford, North Carolina, held August 28-29, 2021.
Six years ago, Jimmie met the Warmblood mare in Frankfurt, Germany, and knew they would make a great team. Jimmie has produced the mare up the levels through years of hard work and dedication to their partnership. They completed their first CCI***S in April of 2019. After COVID slowed down everyone’s competition season last year, they’ve come back out stronger than ever in 2021.
Jimmie commented in a Facebook post, “Today she jumped around her first advanced and I couldn’t be more thrilled. As most riders know, it takes a really long time and a lot of hours to get a horse from green four-year-old doing their very first event to the Advanced level and I’m here to tell you, yes, it does take a long time, but I wouldn’t have done this any other way. Today I galloped around this track and I knew every single thing she would do and how she would react, and she knows me the exact same way. She is the bravest horse I have ever ridden and always goes and does, no questions asked.”
Dom Schramm also competed at the Five Points Horse Trials, earning second place with Quadrocana in the Open Preliminary division and first place with Dawn Breaker in the Open Training division.
Both Dom and Jimmie Schramm choose diets formulated by the experts at Kentucky Equine Research to ensure their competition horses are receiving everything they need from their diets. They count on Bio-Bloom™ PS, Micro-Max™, Nano-E®, Restore® SR, Synovate HA®, and Legends® Feeds, which are fortified with KER Micronutrients, to keep their horses in top shape.
