KER sponsored rider Liz Halliday-Sharp kicked off her winter season with a win at the Ocala Jockey Club CIC3* November 15-18, 2018.

Liz, who recently returned to the US after spending the summer competing in Europe, took an early lead aboard Fernhill by Night with a dressage score of 27.2. A double-clean show jumping round and only 2.8 cross-country time penalties kept the pair on top of the leaderboard throughout the weekend.

“I had not-our-best jump into the last water, which is untypical for him, but I think a year ago he wouldn’t have even fought for me there, and he actually just kept going and got it done. The horse deserves this. We’ve had a long time together and he’s never won a three-star, so this is his time to win. I’m very happy for him,” she told Eventing Nation.

It was a busy weekend for Liz, in addition to winning the CIC3*, she finished second in the CCI1* with Gorsehill Cooley and sixth in the CCI1* with Flash Cooley.

Liz relies on Bio-Bloom™ PS, EO-3™, Restore® SR, RiteTrac™, and Synovate HA® to give her horses research-backed nutrition for optimal performance. She also uses KER Sport Horse Nutrition feeds in the U.S. and Kentucky Equine Research partner Saracen Horse Feeds in the U.K.
