Feeding a barn full of hunters and jumpers can be a daunting task. Owners must craft a custom diet for each horse that provides support for the rigors of traveling from show to show and just the right amount energy to ensure the horse stands out in the show ring.

Robin Swinderman Mitchell, a USEF-licensed judge, works with Kentucky Equine Research to nourish her string of top-level hunters and jumpers. Robin and her horses at RSM Equestrian have been named champions at prestigious shows such as the National Horse Show, Capital Challenge, and Winter Equestrian Festival.

“For well over five years, you will not find another grain in my feed room besides KER Targeted Nutrition,” Robin says. “I began feeding KER products many years ago when I learned the company’s research. I pride myself in only feeding the best to my horses for optimum health and performance. There are many choices in grain out there, and living in Ocala, Florida, I have access to all of them. I chose KER feeds for their exceptional quality, consistency, and the horses love them. My show horses stay fat, healthy, and shiny without having to feed large quantities.”

Robin provides all of her horses with KER Targeted Nutrition feeds, including the retirees. “My family’s horse retirement facility with over 50 horses also uses KER Targeted Nutrition Feeds to keep the older horses fat and healthy, sometimes 20 years past their retirement age.”

Robin has seen results in the show ring and in the barn, “Since feeding KER, I have not had a single episode of colic, and any questions I have regarding a specific horse’s dietary needs is answered by a nutritionist quickly and professionally with the desired results achieved every time.”
