Blue Ribbons for Buck Davidson

Buck Davidson scored big at the Rocking Horse Winter II Horse Trial in Altoona, Florida.
After a very close second-place finish at last week’s Wellington Eventing Showcase, Buck, a Kentucky Equine Research-sponsored rider, and Carlevo took the lead in dressage at Rocking Horse and never budged from the top of the scoreboard. Buck also finished second with Erroll Gobey and fourth with Copper Beach.
The veteran rider also finished second in the Open Intermediate-B with Jak My Style, third in Preliminary Horse-B with Up On Stage, first in Training Horse-C with SHI Showman, and fourth in Open Training-B with Cerfino D.
Buck relies on KER Sport Horse Nutrition feeds to ensure his horses perform their best. “KER has always been the authority on feeding high-performance sport horses,” Buck said. “I’ve always relied on KER-formulated feeds.”
Fellow sponsored rider Liz Halliday-Sharp also had a successful weekend at Rocking Horse with her young horses. Cooley Seeking Fortune finished fourth in the Open Preliminary (Friday 1 Day)-A, Cooley Be Cool finished third in the Open Preliminary (Friday 1 Day)-C, and Shanroe Cooley finished first in the Open Training-C.
Liz relies on antioxidant supplement Nano-Q10™ to help her horses recover between phases. She also uses Bio-Bloom™ PS, EO-3™, EquiShure®, Restore® SR, RiteTrac®, and Synovate HA® to give her horses targeted nutritional support for optimal performance.
“The ability to quickly bounce back between phases is so important in eventing,” Liz said. “Coenzyme Q10 is a key nutrient for muscle health and recovery. I rely on Nano-Q10 from KER to ensure I’m supporting my winning event horses with the latest in equine nutrition science.”
