Barrel Racer Supports Recovery and Muscle Health with Nano-E

It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to get a horse qualified for the 2020 National Barrel Horse Association World Championships. Kentucky Equine Research-sponsored barrel racer Alex Simpson has done that and then some, qualifying both Cruisin For The Cash and Cashy Dash Down.
A grueling schedule of barrel races requires supportive maintenance for Alex’s horses, starting long before the horses load up to head to a rodeo and continuing once they’ve returned home to recover. Despite the best care, Cruisin For The Cash needed additional support. “I started Nano-E® when one of my past mentors recommended it for my first-string mare, Cruisin For The Cash, who was having muscle soreness and chiropractic issues. She was getting extremely nervous at the gate and refusing to run at times. She would blow by her barrels, and it seemed I couldn’t have the chiropractor out enough to keep her feeling good,” Alex said.
“After starting her on Nano-E®, I noticed a huge difference in post-workout soreness and how long she would hold her adjustments after a chiropractor visit. She wasn’t pinning her ears anymore when I saddled, and she just seemed happier overall. She started to walk flat-footed to the gate and didn’t go by her barrels any longer.”
Alex and Cruisin For The Cash were the 2019 NBHA State Finals 1D Champion and are looking forward to a busy summer competing in jackpots and pro rodeos as they prepare for the NBHA World Championships.
