Alex Simpson Ranked Third in WPRA Circuit Standings

Kentucky Equine Research-sponsored barrel racer Alex Simpson started 2020 with big plans. In addition to defending her title as the 2019 NBHA State Finals 1D Champion and preparing to compete at the 2020 National Barrel Horse Association World Championships, Alex also purchased her first Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) permit.
Unfortunately, many 2020 WPRA-approved events were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, limiting Alex’s opportunity to put her new permit to use. Attending only a few WPRA-approved races, Alex is still making her mark on the WPRA California Circuit, recently being ranked third in the permit standings.
Alex uses Bio-Bloom™ PS and EO-3™ to keep her horses looking their best. “Bio-Bloom and EO-3 make my horses’ coats look amazing,” she said. “I constantly get asked what I feed because they are so shiny and just healthy looking. I had an up-and-coming mare that was suffering from bad feet. I dealt with abscess after abscess and bruising if she went barefoot. Since starting the Bio-Bloom PS I have not had an abscess with her and she currently runs barefoot.” Alex also feeds Nano-E® and Total Wellness™ from KER Targeted Nutrition.
