A Breakout Weekend for the Horses of Schramm Equestrian

The younger horses of Schramm Equestrian showcased their talent during the Ocala Winter 1 Horse Trial at the Florida Horse Park with Casalto and Dawnbreaker taking the top ribbons.

“Congrats to the long-suffering members of The Casalto Syndicate! We were the bridesmaid five times in 2019 with only two wins. Today the Hollywood Hunk from Holstein blazed around inside the time to win the Prelim in good style on his dressage score of 29!” said Dom, a Kentucky Equine Research-sponsored rider, in a Facebook post.

In a separate post about Dawnbreaker’s results, he said, “The newest addition, Dawnbreaker, had a successful show this weekend, winning the Novice! A super nice mare with a great gallop and attitude! I am enjoying getting to know her better!”

Dom also finished eighth in the Advanced combined test with Bolytair B and sixth in the Open Intermediate with Quadrocana. Jimmie Schramm also rode in the Open Intermediate, finishing eleventh with Eclaire.
