Kelley Carrington French, a professional barrel racer sponsored by Kentucky Equine Research, is picking up wins and trophy saddles in the late season.

Kelley and Slice Of Peachfame were the pair to beat at the National Barrel Horse Association World Championships, running a 14.585 in Round 2 of the Open to pick up the Fastest Time Award of the event. Stoli N Sweet, a developing horse in her string, also ended up tenth in the 1D Senior NBHA World Finals.

“He is so green, but he held his own in such a tough group,” she noted.

Kelley also picked up some new tack, winning a trophy saddle for being the high money-earner in the Open division at the 4th Annual Friends of St Frances Cabrini Benefit Barrel Race in DeRidder, Louisiana.

“All the ponies put their hearts into each run,” she posted on Facebook. “Slice Of Peachfame was third today with a slip at the first and won the Seniors; Stoli N Sweet got a bit faster today and placed seventh. Jazzy didn’t really put any fire to the mat today but still ran top of 2D.”

Kelley feeds her horses KER RE-LEVE®. “I attribute much of this success to the switch to KER RE-LEVE. This feed has allowed my horses to compete at an intense level and schedule without experiencing any more tying-up episodes.”
Kelley also uses Nano-E®, a unique, rapidly bioavailable source of natural-source vitamin E that is a vital antioxidant for muscle health, and Restore® SR, an electrolyte with a proprietary slow-release mechanism that allows sodium to be released gradually into the gastrointestinal tract for sustained absorption.
