Kentucky Equine Research-sponsored eventers Buck Davidson and Liz Halliday-Sharp finished their seasons on a high note at the Ocala Jockey Club International Three-Day Event, held November 14-17.

Buck had consistent rides on his two horses, finishing second on his dressage score with Cooley Candyman in the CCI2*-L and fifth with Copper Beach in the CCI4*-L. Buck relies on KER Sport Horse Nutrition feeds to supply nutrition that ensures his horses perform their best. “KER has always been the authority on feeding high-performance sport horses,” Buck said. “I’ve always relied on KER-formulated feeds.”

Liz also finished on her dressage score in the CCI2*-L with young gun Cooley Stormwater. “I am very proud of this gorgeous six-year-old for giving his very best in the Ocala Jockey Club CCI2*-L for fifth place out of 70!” she said in a Facebook post after the event. “That completes our 2019 season and I am already looking forward to 2020 with a seriously exciting bunch of horses!”

Liz relies on new antioxidant supplement Nano-Q10™  to help her horses recover between phases. She also uses Bio-Bloom™ PSEO-3™EquiShure®Restore® SRRiteTrac®, and Synovate HA® to give her horses targeted nutritional support for optimal performance.

“The ability to quickly bounce back between phases is so important in eventing,” Liz said. “Coenzyme Q10 is a key nutrient for muscle health and recovery. I rely on Nano-Q10 from KER to ensure I’m supporting my winning event horses with the latest in equine nutrition science.”

The Ocala Jockey Club International Three-Day Event is located minutes from the Kentucky Equine Research Performance Center in Ocala, Florida. Opened in 2017, Kentucky Equine Research’s newest facility enables researchers to observe the influence of nutritional changes in racehorses exercised in a typical training environment.
