“Great show to finish the season on our babies!” Dom Schramm exclaimed in a recent Facebook post. Dom, a Kentucky Equine Research-sponsored eventer, took his young horses Quadrocana and Casalto to the Virginia Horse Trials in Lexington, Virginia, for one last outing before winter sets in.

Quadrocana and Casalto both competed in the Open Preliminary division. Finishing on their dressage scores, Quadrocana moved up five places over the weekend from ninth to fourth, and Casalto leaped nine places from seventeenth to eighth in his first run at Preliminary.

Dom summed up his young horses’ stellar season saying, “These Germans have done 19 shows between them this year. At 14 of those shows they have been first, second, or third and never out of the ribbons. Beyond their incredibly consistent results, I’m just so enjoying the process of producing such nice-tempered animals! I’m really looking forward to them being FEI horses next year.”

Dom and his wife, Jimmie, use diets formulated by the experts at Kentucky Equine Research to provide their horses with optimal nutrition.  They count on Bio-Bloom™ PSNano-E®Restore® SRSynovate HA® and KER-formulated Legends® Feeds.
