Eventers Take Top Placings Over the Weekend

Eventers sponsored by Kentucky Equine Research earned top placings over the weekend at events in the United States and the Netherlands.
Dom and Jimmie Schramm, the husband and wife team behind Schramm Eventing, went head-to-head in the Open Preliminary-C division at the Radnor Hunt Horse Trials in Malvern, Pennsylvania. With less than rail between the two, they both jumped double clear to finish on their dressage scores. Dom and Quadrocana finished first with Jimmie and Imperial Striker placing third in the division. Dom also finished second with Casalto in the Open Training division.
Schramm Equestrian uses diets formulated by the experts at Kentucky Equine Research to provide its horses with optimal nutrition. They count on Bio-Bloom™ PS, Nano-E®, Restore® SR, Synovate HA® and KER-formulated Legends® Feeds.
Further north, another sponsored eventer, Anna Loschiavo, took home the blue ribbon at the Hitching Post Farm Horse Trials in South Royalton, Vermont. Anna and Fernhill Holeshot took an early lead with a 23.7 in dressage and continued to lead throughout the competition to win the Preliminary division. Anna uses the KER ClockIt™ app to track her horses’ fitness and fine-tune her feel for their speed, strength, and endurance.
In addition to the app, Anna also feeds her horses new Nano-Q10™ to help her speed recovery between workouts. Nano-Q10 is a highly bioavailable form of coenzyme Q10, a powerful antioxidant that protects cells from the damaging effects of free radicals and revitalizes other antioxidants in the body, like vitamins C and E.
In Europe, Liz Halliday-Sharp took Cooley Quicksilver (known as Monster around the barn) to Military Boekelo for his first CCI4*-L. “Cooley Quicksilver gave me everything he had in his first CCI4*L in Boekelo this week, and he has certainly learned a lot and earned himself a good holiday!” Liz said in a Facebook post about the event. “He’s a young horse that has come such a long way this year. We are seriously excited about his future! Good boy, Monster!”
Liz relies on EquiShure® from KER Targeted Nutrition. “Our upper-level horses are working really hard, and we’ve had to increase their feed. In order to supplement that, we need to make sure we keep their gut working the right way, as giving a lot of concentrated feed can be a bit hard on them. I think EquiShure has really helped to keep the horses feeling their best,” she said. Liz also uses Bio-Bloom™ PS, EO-3™, Nano-Q10™, Restore® SR, RiteTrac®, and Synovate HA® to give her horses targeted nutritional support for optimal performance.
