Kentucky Equine Research-sponsored barrel racer Kaylee Gallino paired up with Levi Hapney over the weekend to win the mixed team roping at the Rushmore Rodeo at Palmer Gulch in Hill City, South Dakota.

“Since my pickup is out of commission for a little while, I caught a ride over to LKC Rodeo Productions at Palmer Gulch. On a whim, I entered the mixed team roping as well as the barrels, and ended up winning the mixed with Levi!” explained Kaylee in a Facebook post. Kaylee also finished fourth in the barrel race later that day.

Kaylee uses Race Recovery™ to ensure the quickest recovery possible and overall best performance. Race Recovery is an electrolyte formulated specifically for horses given furosemide (Lasix®). Race Recovery replenishes electrolytes lost in both urine and sweat for complete physiological recovery.

“I have been using Race Recovery for almost a year now and I have loved the results,” said Kaylee. “I feel like my horses are able to bounce back quicker after a run. They have the energy they need, especially on long road trips with more than one run in between hauling.”

Kaylee also uses KER products Bio-Bloom™ PS and Triacton®. Learn more about KER’s research-proven products here.
