Shawna is the point person for Kentucky Equine Research’s portfolio of software, databases, apps, and websites. Originally from upstate New York, she moved to Kentucky after earning her A.S. in equine studies and B.S. in sports, entertainment, and event management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.

Shawna is a life member of the United States Pony Clubs and Chief Horse Management Judge.
